As part of my mentoring service I subscribe to with Photography Made Simple my theme for September was abandoned. I wanted to try low key so got out my rather unloved Fender Stratocaster and gave it a go. The best of the shoot is below.

As part of the 2014 Bristol Festival of Photography I have 2 images being exhibited at Bristol Cathedral until the end of May.

This is part of a wider exhibition in response to a competition for photographs on a theme of revelation.

Do check them out if you get the chance.

Ran the 34th Frenchay 10K today. The oldest 10K in the country. You could describe the course as scenic and undulating, i.e. three massive hills.

Improved on last year with a time of 49:58 – sub 50 minutes, just. Which I am very pleased with considering last year was 51:50 ish.

Looking forward to running the Bristol 10K with Laura.

So I’ve given up on my quest for a small, good android phone and bought a Nexus 4. Hopefully it will be good.

Today I have put up 2 selves for my 2 children.

I then had 2 games of ten-pin bowling with the 2 children.

Now my 2 parents are going to babysit so we can go for a curry, where I shall have 2 beers.

Good times.

No Satellite

Spotted today as I left the M32. South Glos seems to have it in for orbital platforms – they are not welcome here.

Wednesday 15th February 2012 at 1657. This was the time that my life changed.

Today my wife Laura went shopping for my clothes, and not just in any shop – in M&S.

I have now moved from one phase of my life to the next. It’s downhill all the way to BHS from here.

This weekend I passed the 10,000 image mark with my Canon 450d.

That is quite a lot of pictures.
